Selected projects
Through third-party funding, industrial projects and master theses in cooperation with companies, our chair is closely connected to the economy. We are pleased to contribute our competences to projects in order to develop solutions for various practical problems. In addition, we are always interested in supervising bachelor or master theses in which practice-relevant problems are worked on in cooperation with companies based on scientific methods. Please do not hesitate to contact us!
In the following we present you some selected projects:

The CONUS Project („Competence Net Urban industrial Supply”) is a joint network of universities and stakeholders of logistics and supply industries in the Lower Rhine Region. The network’s goal is to achieve more sustainable urban-rural relationships. Therefore, new, innovative supply solutions are going to be developed. [Details of the project CONUS]
Share Now
In many of the business areas of freefloating Car-Sharing providers, there is often an imbalance in demand in terms of both space and time, which results in particular challenges for Car-Sharing providers. The aim of the project is to develop suitable methods for optimal pricing in order to achieve a balanced system even with fewer repositioning runs. [Details of the project with Share Now]
Master theses in cooperation with companies
We regularly supervise final theses in cooperation with companies from industry and trade. For many companies this represents a low-threshold opportunity for cooperation. They give students a valuable insight into practice and give us the opportunity to apply research results. [Exemplary practical master theses]
